Updated: Dec 11, 2022

This is our time! We’re stronger when we work together to lift other women up. EvolveMe's #40over40 list curates profiles of women who have or are in the process of reinventing their careers in their 40s, 50, 60s, and beyond.

We're thrilled to share stories of reinvention - women returning to work, pivoting careers, or launching new ventures!

Meet Kirsten Krohn, actress and voiceover coach who is growing into professional communication coaching.

Read on to be inspired by Kirsten's bold move!

What is the current focus of your career?

Professional coaching and refreshing communication skills, while concurrently working as an actress and voiceover artist.

What prompted your career reinvention?

A decrease in commercial voiceover work.

What's the best thing about mid-life career change?

Meeting new people and gaining new skills.

What's the biggest challenge?

Actually starting a new venture - putting up a shingle.

What's your personal mantra/mission? Why?

I am an inherent cheerleader. I find deep satisfaction in helping others revel in the light they emit.

Your best career advice for other women in midlife is...

Everyone - from the heads of companies on down - suffers from some aspect of imposter syndrome in some way, shape, or form. Acknowledge when you're feeling that and welcome those insecurities as "overseers" rather than roadblocks.
